Upcoming Events: and Important Updates:

  • Post this link in your Monday announcement, so families can access these optional activities- Use this time on Monday to plan, collaborate, check-in on students, conference, etc. -  no new content needs to be posted (just the family fun link) -CCS Family Fun Mondays - Monday, April 27th, 2020

  • Make sure to read the In The Loop letter that went to families.  Dr. B gives an update on the extended day proposal, and information on grades were sent to parents: LINK HERE

  • Literacy Adoption Update:  The committee will continue their work in the fall (hopefully, with formal recommendations being made by mid-year.  As a district. our professional development work will continue to focus on Early Literacy, Science of Reading, Balanced Literacy and Workshop.  The district will use the tools we currently have to support that work during the 2020-2021 school year.

  • We will be offering a virtual Field Day on the May 18th Family Monday.  Brian will be organizing and using resources from Open National Field Day

  • There will be no Kindy 500  this year - canceled and will not be rescheduled

  • We are working on plans for a virtual 5th Grade Recognition ceremony, but are awaiting final decision and communication till after May 1st.
